Update, 1:15 PM: Rihanna confirmed ANTI is finished, tweeting an image of herself listening to the new album while wearing Dolce & Gabbana's extravagantly embellished headphones:
We know the singer was busy working hard on ANTI just last week while visiting a studio in Paris, but now a Grammy-winning songwriter and vocal producer has confirmed that the sessions have wrapped.
Kuk Harrell posted a picture of himself having a celebratory drink after being in the studio with Rihanna, and the caption read: "Mission accomplished!"
Maybe it had nothing to do with Rihanna and her album though? Well, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the 27-year-old popstar replied to the picture with eight red balloons.
For those of you who haven't seen the artwork for ANTI yet (or possibly have just forgotten what it looks like because it was revealed ages ago), one of the main focuses is a young Rihanna holding a red balloon. Basically, it's the icon for this era.
Fans were so pleased with the news that they instantly started celebrating with the #ANTIIsFinished hashtag. That was shortly followed by speculation as to when it'll actually get released.
It's highly likely Rihanna will perform at the Grammy Awards this year after appearing in an advert for CBS's broadcast of the ceremony on February 15.
Then there's the fact its Rihanna's 28th birthday on February 20, six days before her world tour kicks off in San Diego on February 26.
Meanwhile, Rihanna has also confirmed to a fan that Kanye West is no longer executive producing her new album, as they decided to each focus on their respective releases.
