After four weeks of use, consumer testers were the most satisfied with Caudalie, noting a perfect "light and fluffy" texture without "feeling greasy." Testers loved that it didn't have a "heavy, thick feeling when putting it on" and appreciated its subtle scent and quick absorption. This cream also scored the highest marks for ease of use and did not irritate skin. In the Beauty Lab, this cream ranked among the top for hydration and was best at improving skin texture in our evaluations.

How We Tested: The Beauty Lab at the Good Housekeeping Institute conducted both consumer and laboratory tests on twelve night creams. In the consumer test, each cream was distributed to 22 women who were 35 or older. These women used their assigned cream at home for four weeks and then evaluated them by answering a standardized survey. In the lab we took firmness and moisturization measurements on our testers before and after their four weeks of product use. We also captured images of women's faces before and after, using our Visia Complexion Analyzer to measure improvements in skin wrinkles, texture and hyperpigmentation.
