With 48 dual-speed rotating tweezing discs, the Panasonic Multi-Functional Wet/Dry Shaver and Epilator outscored the competition in removing even the tiniest hairs, from the root, in just one pass. Our consumer testers rated it best for minimizing pain and irritation (even for new users), as well as being easier to use than other epilators they had used in the past. The Panasonic also earned the highest scores in our test for effectively removing hair from lower legs, and took the second place spot for effectively removing underarm hair.
How We Tested: The Beauty Lab evaluated four epilators on how well they removed hair. We blinded product brand names and sent each epilator out to at least 20 consumer testers, half of whom were regular epilator users and half of whom usually used razors. Consumer testers used their epilators, monitored for hair regrowth or ingrown hairs, and then filled out surveys.
