Though Kim Kardashian is standing by Kanye West in light of all his scandals, beefs, and rants lately, it doesn't mean she's doing it out of love. There's a lot of discord in Kimye's marriage, and despite their cute Instas and photo ops, the signs are all there that they're a pretty unhappy couple.
They're rarely together alone
Because both Kardashian and West have grueling schedules that require a ton of travel, they're hardly together in the flesh. Unless they're doing a red carpet together, they're rarely spotted out as a couple—and when they are, they're usually not smiling. Aside from living in Kris Jenner's house, Jenner and the rest of the Kardashian clan constantly satellite the couple, making it nearly impossible to have any privacy, even when cameras aren't rolling.
She's sick of his drama
West's Twitter rants drive Kardashian up the wall. It began with his hate-fueled tirade against Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa. A source told Radar Online, "Kim told Kanye how totally inappropriate his comments were. She really let him have it. But he is still the one who rules the marriage. Kanye made Kim call Amber and meet with her. He wanted Kim to make up with Amber for him. He told her what she had to do, and she listened to him, of course." Meanwhile, People reports that Kardashian is over his social media insanity in regards to his latest messiness about Bill Cosby and his own cash flow. "What causes friction in the marriage…is Kanye's compulsive tweeting," a source told the mag. "Kim can't stand it. She is all for self-promotion, but doesn't approve of Twitter drama."
They're materialists...and he's "broke"
In February 2016, West took to Twitter about his financial woes. Talk about 1 percent problems! "I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt—Please pray we overcome—This is my true heart," he wrote. Of course, those figures aren't quite accurate: West is actually worth about $100 million on his own, while Kardashian adds a cool $85 million to the couple's total net worth. Still, the Kardashian family is nothing if not capitalist and proud, and insiders tell Page Six that Kardashian isn't too pleased with him airing his dirty monetary laundry in public.
